tic tock, the clock rocks
in the moonlight, a Ghost walks..

a few serpents mingle with the folks
charming faces, with different strokes!!

smiles spread with a devilish dent
sparkling bangles, bonhomie too comes with a rent!!

raunchy angels with alluring moves
venom flows as fellows groove

snippets of joy, a phoebic disorder
rolling in a jiffy, one after the other

there comes the misty morning with fresh dew
birds chirp and eagles flew

famished scavengers feast on the carcass
the owl is amazed - but last night was full of laughter !!??

the ghost echoes -

the night may seem tizzy, but the perception is clear
smile my dear friend, the End is near!!

"
what seemed so bright, has turned to ashes

rhyming words, demented lines
pandoras box, full of lies!!

THE MADHATTER'S FLIGHT TO INSANITY

With ringtones stirring in his head
he saw hues of color wherever he went
puppets danced before his eyes
crazy diamonds sparkled and made him blind
walking along on a jigsaw puzzle
he reached the gates of the forsaken heaven
with loads of work on his mind
tattered between classes and events to unwind
he has lost his sleep
constant doorbells beep
craving for more to happen
the MADHATTER smiles
and swings to the tunes of INSANITY !!!!

~FREEDOM~

The greens just returned on the parched February leaves
Sunlight shone through the rough creeks
The Eagle shrugged and opened its wings
The Lady Luck happily sings
Though the destination lies far away, aloof and distant
The sharp eyes keep in mind and never forget
All what is desired lies on the road ahead
Filled with sharp curves and rose-beds
And I got style
And I got grace
And I got the means to leave that ‘place’
With the smiles of the loved
About to set foot on the journey of a lifetime
Hallelujah .. I feel Free !!!

~~the joy in life~~

soaked in rains , the mind veers away from the everyday bustle,
remembering the times we have spent , brings a smile on the parched lips,
the endless chit chat sessions , the colorful nights , the long talks , the sutta talks, varied interests mingled,
the times spent with u will forever be unforgettable ,
constraints may have drifted us away but my heart beats with a mere mention of ur name ,
a heartfelt thanks

(wanted to write more and more but then felt u know my affection for u more than i can scribble here)

Black Coffee ...

Agony and pain have struck me badly
still i am willing to stand, although a bit oddly

The world is laughin at my misery ,
yet i have found solace, both refreshin and crispy ,

The mind is dull with random spurts of activity,
the smoke is rising in the air and the wind is drifty,

My friends say not to worry and stay positive,
but i stay misty eyed, optimistic refraining from the negative,

rowing the boat of life alone ,
the way lost and the body feeling frail and reduced to bones ,

knowledge has become a distant dream ,
The bitter taste of a "black coffee" with no cream ....

Development vs Earth .. K.O. Earth ??

Time will come , it is not a distant image in our mind anymore , it has got reality attached to it; we will wake up in the morning and will see a robot standing beside our bedside with a broomstick in his hand guiding us to shift from our bed and go to the living room where tea ( i am a tea lover) and the morning paper will be served with cookies by another robot. the scenario appears strange now but with rapid growth in science and technology it is not fictional altogether.

Insanity ??

Gasping for breath .. running with the pace of life .. lone existence with no one to share .. fatigue crushing from head to toe .. with no moment to pause ..fighting with the mounting expectations .. fighting with the desire to be set free.. fighting with the norms set by society .. fighting with wishes .. panting, puffing, running.. nothing seems to stop .. a morbid existence with no joy ..

suddenly you appear..somehow peace is achieved .. and the wings have spread .. the morose has turned to bonhomie .. the soul is overjoyed .. the distant flight to happiness has begun to take shape .. fear and defeat are nowhere in sight .. you are the melody like lilting refrain .. swirling music within my brain .. you are the innocent laughter of a child .. you are the rain to my parched earth .. you are the treasure of my life , so safely stored .. it is because of you that i have moments that i adore .. it is you because of whom i can again wish .. it is you because of whom i can again strive .. it is because of you the sands feels so warm and soft .. the summer of life never seem to be lost .. you are the shelter where my soul rests .. these are your times , the times we know ...

it is all because of you .. my love .. my "Insanity" !!!!
